DMV places of work in Texas are closing regional service facilities amid COVID-19

AUSTIN, TX – The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles announced Tuesday that it would close its 16 regional service centers that would be closed to personal transactions to help prevent the spread of new coronaviruses.

The closings took effect at the end of the business day on Tuesday. According to official information, services and support will continue to be provided by mail, email and telephone as long as personal services are not available. You can see the locations of the regional service centers here.

Regional service centers across Texas provide specialized services to the public, including title replacement, bonded title rejection letters, split registration, annual vehicle approvals, and Texas title investigation and troubleshooting.
